1. Who We Are & What We Offer

Lettra.Website ("Lettra," "we," "us") offers two services:

Custom Website Development — we build and design individual websites for clients, using Base44 as the underlying platform, with manual code review and custom design work by our team.
Self-Serve Website Builder — a chat-based, no-code tool that lets users build their own websites, using our own proprietary templates, fonts, colors, and styles layered on top of Base44.

By purchasing a custom project or using our self-serve platform, you agree to these terms.

All websites built through Lettra rely on Base44, a third-party platform we do not own or control.

We cannot guarantee that Base44 will remain available, unchanged, or operational in the future.
Lettra is not liable for any downtime, data loss, or business interruption caused by Base44's actions, outages, pricing changes, or discontinuation.
If Base44 becomes unavailable or is discontinued, we may offer migration to alternative infrastructure — this is not automatically included and would be quoted separately.
We'll make reasonable efforts to provide data exports on request, but some backend functionality may not be fully portable to another platform.

We use Base44's built-in authentication and role-based access controls rather than custom-built login systems.
We run security scans and manually review sensitive logic (checkout, admin access, discounts) before launch.
Payments are processed through established third-party processors — we don't store raw card data directly.
No website can be guaranteed 100% secure. Lettra is not liable for breaches or unauthorized access except where caused by our own gross negligence.
You're responsible for keeping your own account and admin credentials secure and reporting any suspected issue to us.

You own all content you provide (text, images, branding, product data).
Templates, design systems, fonts, and styles created by Lettra for the self-serve platform remain our intellectual property — you're licensed to use them while your account is active, but you don't own the underlying design system.
For custom projects, once fully paid, you own the specific website built for you, aside from Base44's own rights to its platform/software.

Fees and payment schedules are as agreed at time of order (custom projects) or subscription signup (self-serve platform).
Custom projects include a set number of revision rounds as specified in your package; extra revisions may be billed separately.
Delivery timelines (e.g., 24 hours, 5 working days, 10 working days) are estimates dependent on timely content and feedback from you.

You may not use Lettra's services to build sites that break the law, infringe on others' IP, enable fraud or phishing, or collect personal/payment data without proper security and disclosure.
We can suspend or remove access for sites that violate this.

Lettra's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant service in the past 12 months.
We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages — lost profits, lost data, or lost business opportunities.

Our services and any website built through them are provided "as is," without guarantees beyond what is explicitly stated in these terms.

We may update these terms over time. Material changes will be communicated, and continued use after changes means you accept the update.

These terms are governed by the laws of Austria.
